Students often try to improve their SAT Math score by solving as many questions as possible. This can create the feeling of hard work without producing consistent improvement. The problem is not always a lack of practice. It is usually a lack of targeted practice.

Students who enter every question into a calculator often spend more time than students who recognise the fastest method first.

5. Redo Incorrect Questions Without Looking at the Answer

After reviewing a solution, wait at least one day and solve the question again without assistance.

If you still cannot solve it, the concept has not been fully learned. Find two or three similar questions and practise them together.

A mistake becomes valuable only when it changes how you approach the next question.
